  1. We’ve not been doing much with this, but we’ve found that our special collections department has. One of the things they’ve been doing is adding identifiers for original owners of material, including some authors whose collections they own either wholly or in part. The problem we’re finding, however, is that our catalogue does not differentiate between different responsibilities, which then results in such (tertiary?) relationships indexing with more direct authority results…. to have such headings, however, has been very popular with users of our Special Collections…. every innovation brings it’s own problems!
